While on this 2 1/2 hour tour, you will visit several Amish farms. Plan to have a great day observing them go about their daily chores. Peek into an Amish home. Observe Amish craftsmen making their beautiful furniture.
There will be ample opportunities to purchase Amish crafts that might catch your eye. These include furniture, quilts, baskets, jams, and mouth-watering bakery goods.
Hear about the interesting history of these Christian people and learn of their lifestyle, customs, and religion. You'll enjoy talking to these friendly, peaceful, and family-oriented people.
Also, included in the tour, is Austin's Mohair Goat Farm. Ada gives a fun and informative talk regarding the farm. She offers a free sample of goat meat and her shop is full of artisian crafts made from the goat hair. You will also have a short visit to the historical Lenora Stone Church built in 1856.
